'With a title that will leave you gasping for breath, media artists Lawrence English and Richard Francis each take a side of this 7" to investigate the remnants of surface noise and audio debris left on recordings taken from archival sources and outmoded equipment. A document from their installation piece at the Next Wave festival in Melbourne Australia during March 2006, this 7" is a richly women mesh of dusty hiss, record static, humming electronics and faded tape sources - the resultant pieces create deeply rumbling washes of audio, rich in shimmering texture and scratchy forgotten pasts.'
